R&D
Pursuit Dynamics' R&D strategy is to leverage the flexibility and adaptability of the PDX technology to provide quantifiable benefits across a wide range of industry sectors thus providing commercial advantages for our partners.
To maximise this, Pursuit Dynamics utilises a number of core technical resources and strengths:
- 4,000m2 R&D facility
The R&D facility is organised into self contained test chambers alongside a large, open space build area. This enables a diverse range of testing programmes to be deployed simultaneously, including controlled subsystem testing and the build & test of large scale systems. - 300m3 aerosol chamber for testing mist generation
The 300m3 aerosol chamber allows testing of development systems with full on-site testing and characterisation capabilities. - Fully equipped wet laboratory
The lab features Liquid Phase Chromotographic measuring equipment, particle sizing and full chemical analysis capabilities. - Computational Fluid Dynamics capabilities for modeling multiphase flow
Pursuit Dynamics has advanced proprietary modelling capabilities providing a prediction of airborne and surface interactions. Coupled with a commercial 3D CFD modelling package, the in-house programs can be used to create video output showing easily understandable behaviour of simulated systems. - CAD concept generation and creation of manufacturing drawings
CAD packages are used in-house for evaluating system concepts, creating solid models and the drafting of manufacturing drawings. - High-precision prototype manufacturing facility
In-house high-precision manufacturing capabilities enable swift manufacture and assembly of low-volume nozzle systems. - Technical project management and risk analysis
Pursuit Dynamics operates high quality project management processes and procedures that provide complete product / project life-cycle control. These processes are designed to ensure project deliverables are provided on time, to the specified quality and to budget - at all times minimizing the project risk for the customer.
R&D PROGRAMMES
The flexibility and adaptability of the PDX® technology provides benefits to a whole host of different industries. The technology is already proven to be scalable in size (both upwards and downwards) and regularly provides customers with process time compression, energy savings, yield improvements, uptime increase and improved utilisation of floor space. The technology consistently provides performance levels unattainable by any other technologies.
This versatility and scalability of the technology enable a varied project portfolio of internally driven projects and customer funded projects.
